Hey, say this for Sally Quinn, I’m not sure even Bobo has inspired this much good snark. Here’s Chait, after digging up a gem in which Quinn was charmed by the Good Old Days in which she could be charmed by turning around and seeing Strom Thurmond with one hand on her ass and one on her mother’s ass (really!):
Once Washington was a happy place where a girl and her mother could be groped simultaneously in good fun by a white supremacist. Sadly, it has all been ruined by Kim Kardashian and Ezra Klein.
One could also note that Quinn’s nostalgia for the days in which one could hang out with Henry Kissinger in the salons of Washington is…not universal. I don’t really understand why anybody cares about the Kardashians either, but say this for them, they’re not war criminals.
